One solution to the "not knowing what ORG we are talking about" is to 
just not endorse it nor promote derived products using the name of the 
org or its contributors.

If you aren't saying:
"My NewOpenSSH 1.0 is good because its based on OpenSSH made by 
<SOMEORG/NAMESOFCONTRIBUTORS>"
then you shouldn't be covered by that part of the agreement.

Seems fine, but do notice it is only the first half of:

"...is hereby granted, provided that the above
  copyright notice and this permission notice appear in all copies."
You still need to have "this permission notice" appear in all copies.

ALSO, do note that when downloading OpenSSH-5.2.tar.gz or the more 
portable version OpenSSH-5.2p1.tar.gz there is a specific file called 
LICENSE in there, covering all kinds of different licenses which you 
need to consider if you are taking the software as a whole.

In that file, there is no line containing the "neither the name" which 
doesn't also make out the University of California as the organisation 
in question. At least not what I could see.
