Nope.  I did think of that.

Yes indeed, and the lack of major fallout has been amazing.

I do watch things, and I am somewhat chagrined to say that I missed the
change that talked about reverting groff.  Usually I catch those, and
correctly keep up.  Making sure that you get all of a set of changes is
the other part.

In general I manage to fix my gaffs.  I sit and ponder and try stuff, and
usually I figure it out.  I'm aggravated with myself over this one, as its
one of the ones I should have caught.
