ati radeon 9600 pro?

Hi,

I'm a long time obsd user who doesn't want to run freebsd or linux 
on my new laptop which will have an ati radeon 9600 pro card.

I understand that DRI won't work; however will this card work for 
just regular non-hardware accelerated operation?

And also, I'm a pretty good beta tester. If anyone is working on 
DRI support and needs help, please let me know. Once its clear that
obsd will be minimally usable on this laptop, I'll order it and 
install -current on it, and get the x11 branch from obsd cvs.
