Wine and libfreetype.so

Hello,

As some of you know, Darwine and WineHQ sort of forked - WineHQ is  
working on x86 Wine for OS X, and Darwine is continuing to add the  
Qemu component to get Wine to work on PPC.

I've been trying to build Wine on my Macbook Pro, and it actually  
builds and installs just fine. The problem is, Wine cannot find  
Freetype at launch time and complains accordingly. Looking at the  
source, I believe it is looking for libfreetype.so.

Does anybody know how I can obtain this file to satisfy this  
requirement? The freetype Darwinport does not include this file:

If I can get this straightened out, I'd be happy to help with a  
Darwinport of Wine. The build process is extremely easy - the  
standard configure, make, make install.
