Re: Turnaround time for accepting new ports?

Hi Mark et al,

We're definitely moving shortly to switch over to trac. If you or  
anybody else has suggestions on how to improve the situation, I think  
that would be great. We definitely have the opportunity to flag new  
ports separately from other port bugs.

Another thing we'd like to do it to broaden the field of those who  
can create ports. Some of that is through adding new commiter who are  
interested in certain ports, and some of that is the through the  
potential to _really_ open up the submission/fix process by for  
instance using a wiki-style interface to allow people to submit and  
fix ports directly: this takes a bit more development bug could pay  
off very handsomely in terms of access and turnaround.
