The port sets up mailman, specifying --with-mail-gid=mailman (see http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/mailman-install/node7.html) Depending on your MTA configuration, this may or may not actually be what you want (for instance, a relatively default sendmail install on Mac OS X wants --with-mail-gid=daemon) You might be able to reconfigure your MTA to make things work. -- Daniel J.
