Well, I dropped down to Xcode 2.2.1 on the Mini Intel running 10.4.7 Server Universal Binary and guess what? I was able to get the Mini to kernel panic and totally freeze up (just as it had done with xrender and Xcode 2.4 on the same platform) but this time installing cyrus-sasl2 so I am totally scrubbing OS X Server 10.4.7 Universal Binary and going back to 10.4.7 Tiger (non-server, and installing from the DVD image that came with the Mac Mini which is totally meant to target an Intel machine and not Universal Binary). I am about to try out Xcode 2.4 on this machine today. Thank you for your tips. Best regards, T.
