Why is it that conversations with you so often tend to veer wildly off- 
topic, going into everything from Apple's SEC filings to "global  
market forces" when the name on the mailing list says "darwinports"  
rather than "apple-general-discussion?"   Are you some kind of expert  
in these fields?  Perhaps you're an advisor to Goldman Sachs or  
Merrill Lynch on the subjects of option pricing and the global PC  
market and we should defer to your judgement, possibly only gently  
suggesting as an aside that you might better apply your expertise to  
more appropriate mailing lists and not waste it here on the unwashed  
Darwin masses.  If you're not, then why even pontificate on such  
matters when it's likely that you know little more than anyone else on  
the other side of the discussion?  Please, the Internet is already  
running a surplus on uninformed debate.

As long as you're ready and able to deal with a MacOSX world with no  
UFS support at all, I'm sure no one will stop you from using UFS for  
anything and everything in the interim.   As they say in the boxing  
ring:  Go crazy, knock yourself out!
