Jordan, Ernie, Charlie, Apple, et al,

Thank you for not only the intellectual contributions to MacPorts but also
for the forthcoming hardware contributions. It is greatly appreciated and in
my view. It is a gift that will go to great use in the MacPorts community
and make life better for everyone.

In today's day and age where entitlement seems to run rampant (is
entitlement generally on the rise mostly in America and the West or is this
a global phenomenon?), it would be easy for a lot of people to more or less
expect and/or demand such contributions. I can only speak for myself but
hopefully many others in the MacPorts community agree that the new hardware
is going to be a very nice, unexpected contribution.

P.S. Could the hardware possibly be a great way to showcase the forthcoming
Xserve Xeons? They used to say "yum"about the candy colored iMac G3s but I
say "yum!" to Xserve Xeons!!! :-)
