I'm on a relatively slow machine and would rather not rebuild all of
my ports. I did try upgrading to Xcode 2.4 (thought I had done that
already on this machine; I attribute it to WWDC madness :) and doing a
clean/upgrade of libiconv again, but I still get the same errors.

Any other ideas?

(What is it about libiconv anyway? I've had all sorts of build
problems with it on 4 different platforms and packaging systems.)
