Yeah I was thinking the same thing.  It could either go in the FAQ, or th=
e
hopelessly outdated "ManuallySettingShell" section could be changed to
"Installing X11 and setting the environment".  I prefer the latter so as
to make it obvious.

Or How about a top level section "Setting Your Mac Ready for MacPorts"

I)  Getting Your Mac Ready for MacPorts

1) Install Xcode Tools
2) Install the MacPorts Binary
3) Installing X11 and setting the shell (optional)

II) Using MacPorts (Joe's Getting Started section)

I like that even better.  What do y'all think?
