Last night I sent a message about my problems installing libgnomeui, which is in the library dependency tree for gnucash. It wouldn't surprise me if these problems are related. Also, I did some reading on the gnome web site and discovered that their odd-numbered releases are 'unstable development series intended for testing and hacking purposes'. Is it wise or typical for macports to follow the unstable branch of a project like gnome with lots of ports depending on it? Personally, I am more interested in the stable branch.
