Xwindows freezing up a lot

I'm running opendarwin 7.2.1 with org.opendarwin.X11-7.5.1-1 installed on a 
powerbook Lombard.
When Xwindows is running, if I don't do anything for a few minutes (5-10), it 
stops accepting keyboard input and the windows stop updating.  I can move the 
mouse, but clicking doesn't do anything.
I've had this problem with a couple of combinations of opendarwin and the X11 
RPM.
I also have Linux on the computer, and I've never had this problem with X in 
Linux.

Any ideas what could be causing this or what I could do to troubleshoot this 
further?
