Hello, You can find binaries on Felix Kronlage's page : http://www.opendarwin.org/~fkr/ I think you are using a Mac, if so, the right package is this one : http://lamancha.opendarwin.org/~fkr/xorg-6.8.1/X11-ppc.tar.gz Unpack it in the root of your OpenDarwin partition. you may have to modify your path. Then, try to run startx If the X server doesn't work, try to run xclock, it may print a message sayong that some librairies are missing so copy them from a partition where both MacOSX and Apple's X11 are installed, and try to run startx... do the same again till it print some thong like : "cannot open display". Then reboot and try to run startx, if nothng is done then try running X. Normally, you will have a grey background and an xterm, without any window manager. so run twm & and a very limited window manager will appear. you can try some X programs. All my test to install others Windows manager such as enligntment, afterstep or kde have failed, so if you ever sucess on installing these, please email me !
