Re: What about other BSDs?

We have multiple beige G3's running opendarwin7.2.1 and darwin7.0.1.
I believe there is a way to user xpostfacto to install direct, but we 
cloned the boot drive from a g4 install and used os9 boot disk to 
rebuild desktop.

nice thing about using a darwin is that when developing in osx, you can 
usually push to darwin with no changes, where as paths will be 
different in linux and other BSD's which may require changing of config 
files.

one type of osx dev that we've not figured out how to push to darwin is 
java, where as I remember reading in forums about yellow dog running 
blackdown.  There are BSD's with java, but not on ppc.
