USB is an artifical limit, we should be able to work around that. 
XPostFacto should have the proper hints for us, since Ryan made 
XPostfacto install Panther on beige G3. (I've done this myself and it 
works perfectly, so I really should get down on my butt and try to get 
his work over into opendarwin).

For the networking part: use ncutil
