How do you configure opendarwin to give graphical login with X11 after boot?

Hi, I installed opendarwin-7.2.1 and XFree86-4.4 on my ibook clamshell. Everything works well. I'm using twm at the moment (exploring all the configuration possibilities). I have fink and darwinports installed via cvs. I was having problems with the date but found out about the command "date" and set the clock so that things install easily. I still cannot get xterm or rxvt to give ansi color but I haven't set up an .Xdefault or .Xresources file yet. I'll try that soon. Right now when I turn the ibook on, I get the regular console and start x with "startx". I have had problems with it starting up til I changed some files around (ssh_config and sshd_config). Now I would like to get a graphical login to X after I turn on the ibook, instead of the console login. Does that mean I need to use XDM or do I just have to put something in /Library/StartupItems. I read a website that talks about using XDM and Xvnc which discusses putting XDMStartup.tar.gz in /Library/StartupItems (http://homepage.mac.com/steventamm/software/xdmvnc.html). I was wondering if any one had any advice? Thanks Mike
