While Darwin 8.0.1 is indeed a release made by Apple (internal), there is no Darwin 8.1.x release at all and I wouldn't expect a newer Darwin release from Apple before the next major Mac OS X release (public Tiger on Intel or Leopard or whatever). So, if you want to meet people having experience with installing Apple's Darwin release, people working on a more current Darwin release from the Apple-published sources (it doesn't build ATM), people trying to fix and extend Darwin, you are welcome on this list.
