Re: Can't boot from a cdrom drive work around?

Ok, it does seem to be able to boot from the Windows CDROM.  So at 
least on that part it's ok.  But I think I potentially noticed another 
issue that could be the cause.  Using diskutil,, the cd-r I burned 
shows none of the partitions as bootable, but when I mount the iso 
image(just using the open command, I do tend to avoid the Finder), 
disk2s2 is listed as bootable.  I burned it with Disk Utility.  If I 
use cat to pull the image off the disk, using disk1s1, and then mount 
it, it goes back to being bootable.  But the image from the disk is 
smaller, 526336 bytes smaller.  But that could be the final free space. 
  Burning with `hdiutil burn -noaddpmap -noskipfinalfree 
darwinx86.801.iso` had no improvements as far as I could tell.  At this 
point I'm practically guessing at how to get it to work.
