Installation of Darwin on old iMac....HELP

Hello, I just downloaded the newest build of OpenDarwin, burned it to CD and
stuck the disk in my old iMac (The orange and clear 15" CRT style iMac).
However, the iMac doesn't try to boot to the disk, nor does it prompt to
install once in Mac OS9. Can anyone tell me how to go about installing this!
