Hi

This is a bit late but on January 22, 2025, RTEMS 6.1 was released. A short
news announcement is at
https://www.rtems.org/news/2025-01-22-rtems-6-1-released/. The release
itself along with detailed release notes is at:

https://ftp.rtems.org/pub/rtems/releases/6/6.1/

Project highlights since 5.1 include moving to https://gitlab.rtems.org,
new https://www.rtems.org website, and Discord for discussions. Technical
changes include much of the source code relicensed to the 2-Clause BSD
License, change to waf from autoconf/automake, addition of aarch64 and
Microblaze ports, and much much more.

If there are issues with the packaging, documentation, or code itself,
please reach out and report it.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this.
