I think that you could work out a way to make a PC power supply hook up to 
an SS4, SS5 or SS20 system board, but I haven't tried it myself.

SS5/20 power supplies (Sun # 501-1279 if I'm remembering correctly?) tend 
to be very reliable and I've had no problems with them so far except when 
machines have been stored outside of an enclosed building and things start 
to corrode and get damp.

See if you can track down some junk SS5 systems and rescue the useful 
parts if the cases are not worth keeping. System boards and power supplies 
are handy spares to keep on the shelf.
