The big killer with energy efficiency is plasma TV's. They use more power 
that big CRT TV's yet plasma TV's are pushed very hard in all the trendy 
consumer advertising. What people don't realise (yet) is that by actually 
having more power consumption that average size CRT TV's, plasma TV's are 
a significantly larger fire hazard not to mention going to put their power 
bills up, not down.

My E450 is a pretty heavy power user, but it doesn't have many disks (5 at 
the moment ane a couple of them are old 9's and 18's that I want to 
amalgamate the filesystems from onto a new 73 GB disk soon), and only two 
CPU's.

The 450 is fairly quiet too as it has built-in fan management like the 
SB1000.
