Maybe what I wrote was confusing for how I was comparing.
I meant to say that I have little to fear from I/O bottlenecks in
the Atom because I already suffer from it with the Ultra 1
and earlier generation Sun machines.

(I got a kick out of waiting for my login to the sparcstation 5 to succeed.
I had not seen a successful Unix login take that long since the late 70's
with PDP 11.)

I'd expect the Atom with SATA to beat the disk I/O on my Ultra 60 running
Solaris, and that is the fastest Sun I own.
