Cody, It is hardware thats specific to the Solaris OS. I would put Solaris on it. You could get a PC to run Linux or NetBSD and would get better performance out of PC hardware and have less hassle dealing with sparc specific limitations of the port you run. Solaris 7 is pretty lightweight and would run "ok" on it. It really depends on what you would be using it for. Are you going to be using this is as a workstation type machine or as a system to do something on your network?
