newbie-like question: how to get recommended patch clusters

It's been at least two years since I patched my solaris/sparc systems, and the web site has changee.

I followed what I thought was the obvious path to get recommended patch clusters, and ite tells me I need a support contract to get them.

Is there a trick or another path to take to get recommended patch clusters?  I will need them for Solaris 8, 9 and 10.
