i wasn't one who answered the first time, but i use OpenBSD on 7 sparc
boxes as routers and the reason is pf. takes the pain out of complex
routing. it's lightweight and easy to configure, and supports multiple
QFE Quad Fast Ethernet cards.

i also use OpenBSD for two mail servers running on dual ultraSparc boxes
for the spamd feature (not to be confused with the same named spamd
function which is part of spamassassin).

but for web servers i use Solaris for zones and zfs on Ultras.
