Really?

http://www.opensolaris.org/ redirects me to
http://www.opensolaris.org/os/, which says, in part,

The OpenSolaris code base supports systems that use SPARC® and x86
   families of processor architectures: UltraSPARC®, SPARC64, AMD64,
   Pentium, and Xeon EM64T.

I'm not sure how they justify saying just "SPARC" when they don't
support sparc32, but it certainly looks as though they _claim_ sparc64.
(I haven't tried it, so I can't personally speak to how much truth
there is in the claim, but I also have no reason to doubt it except
statements like the one from Alex I quoted above.)
