you may be looking at a cached page or something. it clearly states on 
the page that on april 28, 2009, solaris 9 reached the last state of 
EOL. there's no link to download it, no link to purchase it. there *was* 
a link before april 28th, i happened across it mid-april, and the link 
was to purchase it, for i believe $80 for the media. no more, though. 
this again presumes that you're not logged in on some form of 
super-duper support contract.
