Solaris 7 on E250

Have the above machine running and when the monitor turned on this morning
was doing a data restore. Don't know what. Then the desktop went to its
normal CDE but now the mouse cursor is the shape of a lock. It will not
accept keyboard input, the mouse cursor moves, but I can not get focus on
any open windows.

Is the machine locked somehow? In the 9 yrs of running this machine I have
never seen it do this before.

Anyone know what this is about?
