So, not all of the motherboard power connector wires for the v120 are the same as the atx colors, but for 12v, 5v, 3.3v, and ground wires that the adapter I got takes for the extra pins on the 24 pin end, they are the same on the v120s power supply and the rest of the adapter is straight through. I can also confirm that the v120 does use the same connector as atx with all the round and square parts in the same places. I think because of the v120s power switch on the power supply itself and the other smaller gauge power connector (is this for lom?) that maybe its not true atx pinout (no green wire in the big connector either i think), because it doesn't get turned on from lines in the big connector? I made the adapter with the normal plug on the extra wires and there was only 1 ground wire so I jumpered that to both positions on the 4 pin plug. Because I didn't need the 3.3v line I cut off some to use for the jumper and scotch taped the end to one of the other 3.3v lines (luckily all the lines I did use were on one side of the connector). Then I ran a 10" extension cable under the cpu air duct and over to the pci card. Here is a picture of it http://www.schmalenberger.us/images/minafxspower.jpeg I'm worried that stuffing it all in there will eventually hurt something, it seemed to be slightly pushing on some of the capacitors by the power connector on the motherboard but so far it all seems to work. I didn't have a chance to put a multimeter on the pins of the adapter either :(, I wish I had one with me, but in lom it says the power supply and all the voltage rails are ok. I hope this info might help somebody else trying to add a device to the v120. If anybody has other suggestions about cable routing that would be good to know also. Thanks for all the tips!
