Hi Chris, I assume you've looked here... http://dlc.sun.com/pdf/802-3819-10/802-3819-10.pdf Sounds like a dead switch-mode PSU. Dried/shorted caps, shorted switching transistors etc. Do you here a clicking noise from the PSU? Could it be a blown fuse in the PSU internals or somewhere else? I just went to power it up (it's been disconnected from mains) to see what the specs were, to clear off any personal data, and to send it on to a new home if anyone wants it. But it's dead. Doesn't power on at all. Is there anything obvious I'm missing that I should try, or should I just yank the hard drives and send it off to the tech recyclers? > > _______________________________________________ > Suns-at-Home mailing list > [email protected] > http://www.net-kitchen.com/mailman/listinfo/suns-at-home > -- William Eggers <[email protected]>
