more like mid '90s.  i was working for xerox information systems at
the time, and our main server was a very troublesome solbourne; i got
to know the fs guy on a first name basis.

after this long, i wouldn't be surprised if grumman has landfilled
everything solbourne-related.  that's the first thing they did with
solbourne engineering.

[dunno if it'd have been legal, but i thought at the time solbourne
was missing a bet not porting os/mp to sun platforms]
