For a SS20, I'd go for a brand new M48T18-100PC1. It won't fit in the 
original plastic carrier, but it fits in the socket.

I'd be surprised if there were any CRC errors with a new chip in a SS20. 
For sun4c machines, like the IPX, it's a different chip and a different 
story.
