Sun output on a LCD display can be problematic. Its important to check the resolutions that the LCD display will support carefully - this usually means digging through the data sheets. Some of the older LCD panels do support 1152x900x66, I found a LCD display some years ago that supported this resolution and use it with my Sun 3/80. In general modern LCD monitors dont seem to sync in the same was as the older multi-sync monitors which would 'have a go' at most input, and with some adjustment would give a stable image. Another advantage of old style monitors, was that they would up scale lower resolutions to full screen and still give a resonable image in most cases. I still keep a couple of nice multi-sync colour monitors around just in case :) _______________________________________________ Suns-at-Home mailing list [email protected] http://www.net-kitchen.com/mailman/listinfo/suns-at-home
