It is a 13W3 in that case, but it isn't a BW2. The sbus analog monochrome framebuffer is an MG1. There was also a MG4, P4 bus version. The SUN digital monochrome video (ECL or TTL) as found on a multibus or VME bus always has a DE9.

Sun's framebuffer names are designed for maximum confusion anyway, so the MG1 and MG4 share the same software interface as the bwtwo (and show up in the OS as /dev/bwtwo), along with the monochrome overlay plane of the CG4, etc.
