Hi All, I'm running Linux on my sparcstation 10, currently the 2.6.31.9 kernel. When building a new kernel, the size of the kernel is (on my system) seems to be limited to about 2.6megs. From what I understand this limit is not imposed by the sparc architecture, the silo bootloader or Linux itself, but rather the firmware on the sun box sets this limit. I'm using ROSS 2.25R firmware on my sun, does anyone know if different versions of firmware have different maximum kernel sizes? Is there any way to set parameters in openboot to change this kernel-size limit? Regards Magnus Lindholm
