The Process Manager typically shows ~180000 RAM and 200000 SIZE. I presume  =

isn't thrashing, because there is little disc activity.

A typical page on http://support.mozilla.com takes about 1 min to appear,  =

and then a further 1 min of cogitation before CPU usage dies away (that  =
