Hi,

Looking at qemu, Linux and NetBSD sources I see that there is some
sort of CPU Power Management at least in SparcStation-5. But after
installing Solaris on a SS-5 I see the pmc driver only in sparcv9
directory. Also
# prtconf
[...]
      power-management (driver not attached)
[...]

Does anyone have any machine with working "pmc" driver, or some some
other driver which binds to the "power-management" device?

I just can't believe that Linux (and meanwhile NetBSD too) know Sun
hardware better than Sun's own OS. Am I missing something obvious?

Artyom
