ZFS versus High End Storages The customer who has big storages from HP, IBM, EMC is always giving just one LUN configured at the raid level in storage side. They would like us to configure it in ZFS. Due to lacking of replicating, we can't eliminate the data corruption in ZFS. I am wondering the best practice if the customer has big expensive storage arrays. Giving the LUNs as a separated disk, or grouping them in small-size disks as raid grups in storage sides and adding the replicating capability with ZFS? Please advice.
