Hi Gurus, I am experiencing a different problem. I have v880 server with 3 JBODs. and 6 internal Disk 2 for rootvg and 2 for internal_mirrordg and 2 is kept idle. One of the internal_mirrordg disk failed. I have logged a call and engg pulled out the disk and I found root disk got pulled. I asked engg to put back the disk and made rootdg available and put one of the idle disk to that DG and brought it up. Then I got downtime today and asked engg to power off and replace disk. Server didn't boot as it said boot disk not found, again I pushed back the old disk. Now server is working. I have guided engg to remove the disk with the serial number which was taken from iostat -En. Has anyone faced this type of issue? Please advise. Solaris 8
