Sun Managers, A Friday Puzzler. How do we get an uptime value of 11 years and change when that value is twice the number of years we've owned it? $ uptime 1:54pm up 4198 day(s), 19:54, 2 users, load average: 0.34, 0.38, 0.39 $ uname -a SunOS co-vm-998 5.10 Generic_138888-08 sun4v sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-T200 $ 1. Looking at our logs, we did bring that entire rack down 350 days ago for maintenance - so the figure is doubly improbable. 2. Pity we can't apply this to our SLA ...
