Zone - shutdown problem

Hi All,


In Solaris 10, I try to shutdown a local zone, it appears to be
running all the time (ping -s <zone1 IP> is still alive).  I try both zlogin
and zoneadm commands, same result.
zlogin zone1 shutdown -i0 -y -g0
zoneadm -z
zone1 halt

Does anyone run into the same problem when shutting down a zone?
I
even went on to uninstall and delete the zone, ping -s <zone1 IP> is still
alive.
