 I decided to reboot the global zone and it resolved the issue.

Original question:

I have a Solaris 9 zone (hosted by a Solaris 10 Global) that is stuck in init
state 6. I can reboot/halt the zone and when it comes back up it goes to init
state 6. I just did install some security patches. The /etc/inittab file
looks
good. Any ideas?
