T2000 memory issues

Hi All

I have a weird issue with a T2000, so any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to config a 8Gb machine, with either 512Mb DIMMs or 1Gb 
DIMMs. I had a few reported as faulty and replaced them, BUT the system 
now shows no faulty items and only reports 1024Mb memory in the banner.

Tried all sorts of resets etc, but cannot get it to report more than 1Gb.

Seem to remember this from a long time ago, but cannot recall what it 
was etc.

Any ideas?
