Any input on upgrading a Solaris operating system? I haven't done them since my SunOS 4 days. I have a T5220 with mirrored UFS boot disks running Solaris 10 Update 4. I've retired all my other older Solaris 10 systems, but I want to update this one to Solaris 10 Update 11. (All my other systems are running update 10 or 11) I also want to migrate the boot disks from UFS to ZFS. All the other file systems are SAN attached ZFS. The system does host one Zone, but if need be, I can save a few files, and destroy it, and then re-create it later. The Oracle documentation is confusing because it covers so many "contingencies" and few "how-to's" I've seen are equally as vague. -- Matthew Stier Fujitsu Network Communications Pearl River, NY 10965 Office: 845-731-2097 Mobile: 845-893-0575
