Clone Sun WS with Solaris 8 and HP Open View Nodemanager

Hi Sun Managers,

I try to clone my Sun WS to another (identical) Hardware. The other hardware
consist of the same platform and the same components (graphic-card,
motherboard, cpu). First i backup the system with ufsdump and then I restore
it with ufsrestore. I use two cartridges to backup the root (c1t1d0s0) and the
filesystem home2 (c1t1d0s4). But the restore doesn't work on the new
hardware.

I resolve one problem with the commands:
- installboot /usr/platform/'uname-I'/lib/fs/ufs/bootblk /dev/rdsk/c1t1d0s0
-       Devfsadm -C -r /mnt -p /mnt/etc/path_to_inst

After this commands the new system recognized the c1t1d0s0 and can boot from
this site.

But if i try to run HP OpenView, it appears an error: Can't open display.

Have anyone an idea, what can be wrong?

The system data is:
-       Sunblade 1000 (UltraSPARC -III)
-       SunOS Rel. 5.8
-       Solaris 8
-       HP Open View 6.4 Solaris
