Ping problem

All,
I am facing on strange problem on one of the ES40 running tru64 5.1A, 
We opened one more office & from there users are able to ping all other
network devices near tru64 machine but cannot ping to ES40 server. now we
added route on es40 & we can ping from es40 to that office router & PC's but
still not able to ping/telnet to ES40.
What may be the problem?
Please advice.
