tru64 5.1B patchkit 5 + ipf

hello everyone,

i am trying to install ipfilter (ipf) on my DL10L that i just loaded 
with tru64 5.1B and patchkit 5. first i tried with ipfilter 4.1.8 then 
with the recommended (fully tested 4.1 release) for tru64 5.1B ipfilter 
4.1.4 as stated here: http://coombs.anu.edu.au/~avalon/ipfilter-status.html
ipf compiles ok however when i try to do: make install-osf i get the 
following error:

both ipfilter 4.1.4 and 4.1.8 behave the same way. searching on the net 
i see other people have the same problem. is there a patch or workaround 
that fixes this except for manually installing the files that are in the 
OSF directory ?
