I just installed a KGPSA-CX on an AS 800 running 5.1A PK6.  Seems to
have installed correctly:

root@sif==> emxmgr -t emx0

emx0 state information:
  Link :  connection is DOWN
  Link is SCSI bus 3 (e.g. scsi3)
          SCSI target id -1
          portname is 1000-0000-C923-BA1E
          nodename is 2000-0000-C923-BA1E
  There are no connected N_Ports in the topology

from /var/adm/messages:

                                         _timeout has expired

We are going to connect this to a SAN (3PAR) but haven't done that yet
(i.e., no cabling is connecting this HBA and the SAN). Is that why the
first message says "connection is DOWN"?

Also, how do I get the OS to see this?

When I issue:

root@sif==> hwmgr -show scsi

And:

root@sif==> scu show edt

I don't see anything I would recognize as the HBA. Am I overlooking it
or do I need to run something?

The driver is 2.11 -- do I need a more recent one? I can't find
anything for this on the HP ITRC site.

Thanks!
Andy
